Since the software fully supports BIM technology and all precast objects in a project are managed in one building model, the software can also perform cross-precast functions.
Here are some examples of how different prefabricated parts can be influenced:
- If a ceiling lies on a wall with an upstand, the upstand is interrupted in the area of the ceiling
- The staircase automatically creates the correct connection bracket in the landing plate
- Electrical conduits in the wall, which go up to the top of the wall, create a recess in the ceiling panel above at the push of a button
- A chimney automatically creates a recess in the ceiling at the correct location on all floors of the building.
Furthermore, collisions between the components are automatically detected and treated accordingly. Two examples:
- If a beam is subsequently entered as a ceiling support, the program automatically detects any collision and creates a corresponding recess in the wall.
- If a steel beam is placed on a wall, which protrudes into the next floor due to its profile, a corresponding recess is created at the base of the wall there (across floors).
All of these functions and checks actively ensure the avoidance of planning errors and a clear improvement in planning.
