Clash detection
Clashes between reinforcements and/or built-in parts that are not discovered during planning present a major problem in the production of precast concrete units. This applies in particular to automated plants where robots are used to position reinforcements or when working with reinforcing mesh welding systems.
Problems can also occur with a double wall if the first skin is lowered into the second skin and electrical sockets are located where lattice girders positioned in the opposite skin.
To prevent these types of problem before production begins, the software features a number of clash checks. These check all integrated reinforcements and built-in parts to see whether there are any clashes. If a clash is detected, the respective positions are highlighted and the user can make the necessary changes to resolve the problem either in the model or directly in the production plan.
