IDAT Revit Precast is an efficient tool developed on and for the world’s leading BIM platform Autodesk® Revit.

IDAT Revit Precast offers professional planning, a wide range of automation options, tools for e.g. columns and beams, vertical wall connections or assemblies and, last but not least, extensive functions for editing and generating welding mats for plant control.
The IDAT Family Extender or IDAT Explode command provides unique, never before available tools for creating, using and automating Revit families and editing your drawings. IDAT Revit Precast speeds up the input of reinforcements and fixtures many times over.
The planning and use of reinforcement is fully automated under IDAT Revit Precast, independent of surfaces, openings or, for example, special bending shapes. For different production plans to be generated simultaneously and for CAM export, extensive functional extensions are also available that take the design and generation of production data to a new level.
IDAT Revit Precast interacts with IDAT CCAD, IDAT Palletizer and IDAT Stacker. So you can easily switch to the world of Revit and BIM. IDAT Revit Precast can also be integrated into existing ERP and production systems. Use existing interfaces for this or develop a solution with us according to your company requirements.

IDAT Revit Precast for wall elements
No matter if solid walls or double walls. The detailed planning and construction of wall elements is a process with many individual work steps. In relation to a complex 3D building model, your planners and draftsmen need many working hours to create the necessary production documents and production data.
IDAT Revit Precast for walls supports you in planning more efficiently, faster and in a practice-oriented manner.
Lay complete reinforcements and built-in parts on elementary walls fully automatically, safely and efficiently or by using the new IDAT Family Extender (for double walls will be available in V.3). Also unique and new is teh IDAT Explode command, which enables you to edit the basic model individually and in detail for each precast element. Visually break down the desired Extender family into its components, edit certain details clearly according to your requirements and then reassemble them for application to the corresponding assembly. The standards naturally include supplementary reinforcement and special components at openings, slots and built-in parts. Component openings are created and placed fully automatically on the basis of necessary parameters.
A further great advantage is the possibility of simultaneously generating any number of production plans according to individual views. Arrange these according to the most diverse requirements with the greatest possible information content. Demand-oriented changes are of course possible at any time.
When your plans are finished, approved and ready for production, you can generate qualified machine data in PXML or Unitechnik 5.2 and/or 6.0 from IDAT Revit Precast.

IDAT Revit Precast for slabs
There it is: The challenge of planning and production of slab elements! Solid slab, or girder slab and last but not least hollowcore slabs. You can rely on the performance of IDAT Revit Precast as with all other types of element (wall and general precast elements).
What is good for walls can’t be bad for slabs!
According to this principle, you can simultaneously generate any number of production plans from your planning according to individual views. You can flexibly decide which information should be included in your production documents and you can fully comply with the requirements and wishes of your customers and partners. If the requirements change, you can change the documents individually without affecting the BIM model.
The high efficiency of IDAT Revit Precast for slab elements becomes clear to you at the latest when you use our newly developed Family Extender, which is only available from IDAT. This allows you to create complete reinforcements and built-in parts on prefabricated slab elements fully automatically and safely. Also with slab elements the unique IDAT Explode command increases the individuality and detail accuracy in the processing of the basic model. Dissolve the desired Extender family visually into its components, edit clearly arranged according to your requirements certain details and then put them together again for application to the appropriate assembly. The standards naturally include allowance reinforcement and special components at openings, slots and built-in parts. Component openings are created and placed fully automatically on the basis of necessary parameters.
Last but not least: When planning hollowcore slabs, IDAT Revit Precast enables you to make a free choice of profiles for the hollowcore slabs, including the end profiles. Furthermore, you can plan saw cut changes with cut edges, which is simply impossible in the Revit basic functions!

IDAT Revit Precast for General Concrete Parts
Model and edit general precast elements such as columns, beams or foundations flexibly and efficiently in your BIM model. You can access freely definable or predefined families, place brackets or interchangeable beams individually, set any type of fasteners according to your requirements. Thanks to the unique IDAT Family Extender, you drastically minimise your design work. Simply predefine the reinforcement in a family and generate it for all similar components in one step over the entire 3D model. (Great advantage: you reduce the risk of transmission errors.) Necessary adjustments to individual components are of course always possible.

IDAT Revit Precast – Plan configurator
This program assists the user in the generation of shop drawings and site plans for precast concrete production directly inside Revit. It offers comprehensive options and extensions for individual plan layout definitions. Another important option is the automatic generation of several plans with different layouts for the same panel (for example geometry, reinforcement, inserts etc.).
Depending from the type of precast the user can define different plan layouts in advance. The position and size of the different information (for example views, reinforcement tables, insert list etc.) can be configured individually for each layout. Later the user can choose if he wants to get all plans generated at the same time or individually for each part/panel. In every case the generation of the drawings will be performed fully automatically.
With this program the automatic generation of shop drawings will be available for all precast types including Columns, Beams, Balconies or Stairs. Theoretically such a plan can be generated for every Revit assembly. The parametrisation options include also the possibility to generate individual views or sections on each plan manually in a very simplified way. Further a parametrized steel takeoff with according bending sketches can be placed on each plan individually by demand.

IDAT Revit Precast – Estimation
This program allows a parametrized estimation of precast concrete projects for example for the generation of quotations. Calculations for precast Walls, Slabs, Columns, Beams or special parts like balconies or stairs are supported. The basis for all calculations is a Revit building model.
The user parametrizes the program to his individual calculation method individually. For this a user defined and no restricted number of parameters and factors can be defined generally or panel addicted and integrated into the calculation process (for example reinforcement grade, transport or design charges etc.).
For the Revit model itself, the user can choose the whole model or only parts of it (levels, families, etc.) to be considered for the calculation process. For the selected Revit objects the user defines the type of precast part (for example for wall families if it should be a Solid Wall, Sandwich Wall, Double Wall etc.). For other family types like slabs the same action according to this.
After the calculation is started the program detects all amounts and quantities from the Revit model and further some other specific data. For example, the program performs a virtual segmentation of walls and slabs to determine the expected number of panels and also the number of panel related components like lifting anchors or part connectors. For Columns and Beams, the program detects automatically the number and position of connections like for example brackets. RevitPrecast Estimation is now collecting all this information and calculates the quantities and prices along the predefined rules.
